When a vendor submits a request for a new product listing or an edit to an existing product, you'll receive a notification based on how you've customized your notification settings.
To review and respond to the request:
- Visit the Products tab in your ConsignMint dashboard and click on Product Requests.
From here, you'll see a list of current and past product requests from your vendors.Each product request has a status:
Approved: You've approved this request.
Changes Requested: You've requested changes to this request and the vendor has not yet submitted an updated request.
Pending: You haven't responded to this request yet.
Rejected: You denied this request and it can no longer be edited. - To respond to a product request, click the three dots corresponding with that product and select one of the options:

Viewing the details of a product request will display a slideout where you can see more information about the product. From the slideout, you have the option to approve, reject, request changes, or edit the product.
Approving the product request will display a modal to confirm the action. In this modal, you have the option to leave feedback for the vendor. You can also override the default Vendor Split by checking the box and inputting a Product Split percentage. Once a product request is approved, the change is made live on Shopify. The vendor will receive a notification that their request has been approved.

Rejecting the product request closes the product request so it can no longer be edited. This action cannot be undone. The vendor will receive a notification that their request has been denied.Request Changes
Requesting changes to the product request will display a modal to confirm the action. In this modal, you are required to leave feedback for the vendor to indicate what changes are being requested. Once the feedback is submitted and the change(s) are requested, the vendor will receive a notification. The vendor can edit and resubmit the product request. Once resubmitted, you'll receive a notification and the request will appear as Pending in your dashboard again.Edit Product
Editing the product request allows you to change the details submitted by the vendor before the product is approved and pushed to Shopify. Use the fields to update the product as needed. You can also override the default Vendor Split by checking the box and inputting a Product Split percentage. When you've finished editing the product, click Approve Product Request and the product will be made live on Shopify. The vendor will receive a notification that their request has been updated and approved.
